4 Ton PET Rock Bag Filler Unit
The 4Te PET Rock Bag Filter Unit is a high-capacity, heavy-duty marine erosion control system engineered for demanding deepwater, high-energy coastal, and riverine scour protection applications. Manufactured from high-tensile, virgin Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) knitted netting, this 4-tonne capacity unit encapsulates graded stone aggregate into a cohesive, high-mass ballast matrix built to withstand severe wave impact and high-velocity currents.
Engineered for long-term subsea durability with a design life exceeding 50 years, the 4Te PET Rock Bag is fully UV-stabilized, non-degrading in saline environments, and highly resistant to subsea mechanical abrasion. Its open-mesh structure allows water energy to dissipate freely while conforming dynamically to irregular seabed and riverbed bathymetry—preventing subsea soil erosion and bed migration beneath ports, quay walls, and offshore infrastructure.
Equipped with an integrated, certified single-point lifting ring, the 4Te PET Rock Bag enables rapid, precise underwater deployment via vessel crane or heavy excavator, eliminating the need for complex subsea diver operations. Over time, the porous mesh traps natural silt and sediment, encouraging biological colonization and marine bio-habitat formation to deliver a sustainable, eco-friendly revetment. Ideal for bridge pier scour remediation, shoreline defense, and subsea cable protection.
