2 Ton PET Rock Bag Filler Unit
The 2Te PET Rock Bag Filter Unit is an engineered, heavy-duty geotextile erosion control system designed for demanding coastal defense, riverbank stabilization, and subsea infrastructure protection. Knitted from high-tensile, virgin Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) fibers, this 2-tonne capacity unit encapsulates graded stone aggregate into an immovable, high-mass ballast matrix capable of absorbing hydrodynamic wave action and resisting high-velocity currents.
Built to deliver a design life exceeding 50 years, the 2Te PET Rock Bag is non-degrading in saline marine conditions, fully UV-stabilized, and highly resistant to severe subsea abrasion. Its open-mesh structure allows water energy to dissipate freely while conforming dynamically to irregular seabed, riverbed, and shoreline bathymetry—preventing soil washing and bed scour beneath bridge piers, port quay walls, and culvert outfalls.
Featuring an integrated, certified single-point lifting ring, the 2Te PET Rock Bag enables safe, rapid underwater deployment via land crane or marine vessel without requiring complex diver intervention. The porous netting traps drifting sediment over time, creating interstitial habitats for marine organisms and encouraging vegetation growth to establish a long-term, eco-friendly revetment.
